Little Giant 'Mid-Strength' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 6 Bottles

Winery Background
Little Giant wines has carved a reputation for producing bold, regionally expressive wines that never compromise on flavour. With the ‘Mid-Strength’ range, they offer a lighter alcohol alternative while still delivering the richness and character the Barossa is known for.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
Fruit is sourced from trusted Barossa Valley growers, where warm days and cool evenings provide the perfect conditions for Shiraz. The 2021 vintage was marked by moderate weather and an even ripening period, resulting in Shiraz grapes with concentrated flavour, bright aromatics, and balanced natural acidity.

Winemaking Process
Grapes were picked at optimum ripeness to retain depth while maintaining a naturally lighter alcohol style. Fermentation was carefully managed in small batches, followed by gentle oak maturation to provide subtle spice and texture without overpowering the fruit.

Tasting Notes
A vibrant crimson in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, plum, and cherry are lifted by hints of spice and cocoa. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth, and fruit-driven, with flavours of dark berries, subtle mocha, and fine tannins. Despite its mid-strength style, the wine remains full of Barossa character.

Food Pairing
Pairs seamlessly with BBQ meats, chargrilled vegetables, slow-cooked beef, or wood-fired pizza.

Story Behind the Wine
Little Giant’s ‘Mid-Strength’ Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 proves that reduced alcohol doesn’t mean reduced flavour. It celebrates everything people love about Barossa Shiraz — richness, vibrancy, and smooth drinkability — in a more balanced, everyday-friendly style.
