Tulloch Vineyard Selection Hunter Valley Verdelho 2025 - 6 Bottles

Winery Overview

Tulloch Wines, established in 1895, is a family-owned winery situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. With over a century of winemaking experience, Tulloch has been instrumental in shaping the region's wine industry. The winery is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Hunter Valley.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2025  Verdelho is sourced from select vineyards within the Hunter Valley, known for their rich, red volcanic soils and temperate climate. The vintage experienced a warm growing season, allowing the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness while retaining natural acidity.

Winemaking

Hand-harvested grapes were gently pressed to extract high-quality juice. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics. The wine underwent lees stirring to enhance texture and complexity, resulting in a balanced and elegant Verdelho.

Tasting Notes

  • Appearance: Pale straw with green hues

  • Aroma: Bright citrus notes of lemon and lime, complemented by subtle hints of green apple and melon

  • Palate: Crisp and refreshing, with flavours of white peach and citrus zest, leading to a clean, mineral-driven finish

Food Pairing

Ideal with seafood dishes such as grilled prawns or oysters, light poultry dishes, and creamy pasta.
