RockBare Click 99 Limestone Coast Merlot 2023 - 12 Bottles

Winery Background
RockBare has built its reputation on creating expressive wines that highlight South Australia’s most distinctive regions. The Click 99 range embodies this philosophy, delivering varietal wines that are vibrant, approachable, and regionally true.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
Fruit for this Merlot was sourced from the Limestone Coast, a region renowned for its cooling maritime breezes and rich limestone soils. The 2023 vintage offered excellent growing conditions with long, mild days and cool nights, producing Merlot with freshness, bright aromatics, and supple tannins.

Winemaking Process
Grapes were harvested at peak ripeness, gently fermented to retain fruit purity, and matured with a subtle touch of oak. The winemaking approach emphasises balance and approachability, resulting in a wine that is smooth, fruit-forward, and refined.

Tasting Notes
Crimson red in colour. Aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, and red cherry are lifted by hints of cocoa and spice. The palate is soft and rounded, with juicy dark fruits, silky tannins, and a smooth, lingering finish.

Food Pairing
Perfect with roast pork, grilled lamb, pasta with tomato-based sauces, or semi-hard cheeses.
