Nestled in the Orange region of New South Wales, Printhie Wines is a family-owned wine producer established in 1996. The foundation of the company was laid down by the plantation of 12ha grapevines on a 500ha family property. Ed and Dave Swift presently manage the company. Accomplished winemaker Drew Tuckwell heads the winemaking team.
TASTING NOTES:
Printhie Mountain Range Chardonnay displays a pale straw colour with a yellow rim. The attractive bouquet gives off mesmerising fruit aromas, making way for a generous palate full of ripe fruit flavours including grapefruit and stone fruit. Subtle oak notes and bright natural acidity integrate with these beautiful characters to culminate the wine in a long, textured and refreshing finale. This enticing Chardonnay can be stored in a cellar for five years from vintage. It complements foods like buttermilk pancakes, sautéed zucchini with sun-dried tomatoes and basil, and pea, mint and lemon risotto.
