Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2020 vintage was marked by bushfire haze, patchy rainfall and frost incidents across Australia. Despite the challenges, fruit from elevated, free‑draining Hilltops sites produced clean, concentrated berries with crisp acidity. Moppity’s precise site selection ensured resilient, fruit‑driven Shiraz.

Winemaking

Fermented in small batches with careful skin contact, the wine captures varietal purity while integrating structure. Oak influence is modest, allowing the fruit and spice to shine through in harmony.
