Mojo Winemakers South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 - 6 Bottles

Winery Background

Mojo Winemakers creates contemporary, expressive wines designed to capture the vibrant energy of South Australia. Known for crafting wines with character and balance, their Cabernet Sauvignon highlights the varietal’s classic structure while keeping the style approachable and modern.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2024 growing season across key South Australian regions was mild and balanced, with a long ripening period that allowed Cabernet Sauvignon to develop excellent tannin maturity and aromatic intensity. Low yields contributed to concentrated flavours and fine structure in the fruit.

Winemaking Process

Grapes were picked at peak ripeness and fermented in small batches to retain fruit purity. Extended skin contact enhanced colour and tannin structure, while maturation in French oak barrels for several months added depth, subtle spice, and complexity to the wine.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red in colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and bay leaf with hints of cedar and spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, offering cassis, plum, and subtle earthy tones, supported by firm tannins and a balanced, lingering finish.

Food Pairing

An ideal partner for roast lamb, grilled beef, hearty casseroles, or aged cheddar.

Story Behind the Wine

This Cabernet Sauvignon reflects Mojo Winemakers’ philosophy of crafting stylish, drink-now wines that still carry varietal integrity. Bold yet smooth, it delivers the classic hallmarks of Cabernet in a fresh, approachable South Australian expression.
