Vineyards & Vintage Conditions

The 2022 vintage in Coonawarra experienced ideal conditions, with warm days and cool nights, allowing the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. This slow ripening preserved the grapes' natural acidity and aromatic complexity, resulting in a wine with balance and elegance.

Winemaking

The wine is crafted from estate-grown fruit, with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. The grapes were fermented separately to preserve their individual characteristics and then blended to achieve optimal balance. The wine was aged in French oak barrels, enhancing its complexity and texture.
