Eldorado Road Victoria Luminoso Rosé 2023 - 12 Bottles
Winery Overview
Eldorado Road is a family-run vineyard and winery located in north-east Victoria, in the Woolshed Valley near Beechworth. They aim to make wines that reflect their sites and vines with minimal intervention and genuine character.
Region & Vintage Conditions
The 2023 vintage drew on cool-climate sites across Victoria, giving a long and mild growing season that helped the fruit develop vibrancy and natural acidity. Harvesting early has been used to maximise freshness and aromatic clarity.
Source
This rosé is produced from selected vineyards in cool-climate regions of Victoria, chosen to retain brightness and purity of flavour. The vines are managed to preserve that light, graceful style of rosé rather than one built around heavy oak or weight.
Winemaking
The grapes are gently handled, pressed and fermented at cool temperatures (primarily in stainless steel) to maintain the fresh aromatics. A short time on lees adds subtle texture, and the style is dry, clean and elegant.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pale coral pink with a glassy, luminous hue.
Aroma: Notes of wild strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit, lifted by hints of rose petal and citrus blossom.
Palate: Light-bodied yet vibrant, with fresh red berry flavours, crisp acidity and subtle savoury undertones. The finish is dry, clean and refreshing.
Key Characteristics
-
A stylish Victorian rosé showing finesse and freshness.
-
Bright berry fruit supported by clean acidity rather than heavy oak or weight.
-
Ideal for someone who enjoys rosĂ© thatâs elegant, easy-going and drinkable now.
Food Pairing
