However, back in the day, it was common practice to top up fires with cuts of peat when the coal ran low. Aged entirely in a selection of first-fill Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of 21 years, this dram displays gentle spice and fruit notes over the top of the smouldering notes of old Speyside.
